I am only 21 years old. I have luckily had the blessing of traveling some throughout my short life. I am very passionate about diversity, inclusion and culture. I believe it is extremely important to learn, and respect, all aspects of as many cultures as you can. Diversity is what makes the human race so magnificent. One way I celebrate diversity, and learn about culture, is to travel abroad. I hope to travel to as many places as possible by the time I die! That is extremely important to me.

Here is a list of where I have been so far:

  • Cancun, Mexico
  • Cozumel, Mexico
  • Guanacaste, Costa Rica (2)
  • Cayman Islands
  • Jamaica

I truly love the ocean and lakes. The beach will always be my happy place.Ever since I was little I have loved water. I grew up competitively swimming until I was 18. Water has always been calming for me. However, I also love exploring towns, shops and restaurants!

I have also seen some incredible animals everywhere I have been. I have also been stung by many small jelly fish, but that is a small price to pay in paradise! I have always been close to animals and have always had a special connection with them. As a child, I played with tarantulas, snakes, toads, bunnies and whatever else I could get my hands on! I refused to kill spiders, so I would pick them up and release them outside (unless they were brown recluse). I remember crying when my dad would kill moles in the backyard. I also hate when he tries to catch, and kill, opossums and armadillos. I believe all creatures are sacred and serve a great purpose. I recognize their importance to the biodiversity and balance of our ecosystems. This being said, I am an animal science major with a minor in wildlife ecology. I hope to work with animals for the rest of my life.
