Hello ladies and gentleman, beautiful people of this virtual world :) I'm considering an arrangement, but I'd like to know at what point or how to bring up the issue of an allowance without coming across as money hungry or greedy.

Support (financial and otherwise) is a keystone of the sugar daddy/baby dynamic, but consideration for the feelings of both parties as well as the connection between them is paramount. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my post :)

No clinging, no drama. Just mutual, casual chemistry between two friends who appreciate and support one another. Eutopianism at its finest :)

Feelings are important. It needs to be more than about fitting a round peg into a round hole. This is not the place for the marriage minded (shudder!), or relationship drama, or any other of the usual blah blah blah. I think lovers need to have mutual respect and be good friends, aka chemistry, for the sex to be the best. $ is given because we want to help a friend, not hire a prostitute.

Agreed, although I usually provide an indication of the level of support and what is anticipated for that support before the first meeting to ensure that there is no dissapointment or confusion.

Both parties know what is expected, otherwise they wouldn't be here.  Get to know the person over dinner, coffee, lunch, see if you make a connection, leaving it casual and open ended.  You can negotiate over messaging after the first "meet and greet", then you both will know the value of the situation.  Be honest and upfront, you will both be happier.

I'd bring it up at the first meeting.  In additon to finding out whether or not there was any chemistry between us, I'd want to know what you're looking for in a relationship, including what sort of financial support you need or want.
