I was never afraid to speak up with ideas or desires to move up. Upon my second annual review; my boss (who'd been there 10+ years) said, "I've never seen someone whose only been here 2 years accomplish as much as you have in as many departments..." Then he gave ma a raise way above what he ever gives anyone. Other employees don't like how hard I work cause they say it makes them look bad... But OH WELLL! I grew up in Florida my whole life. I've always been surrounded by the ocean, which drew me more to it. My family and I visited the beach almost every day, making me connected to it. At 16 I started training to become a life guard at my local beach, currently im a part time life guard and do my best to help people if they are ever in trouble.
