Showing up and putting my best foot forward has been helpful. Being passionate about what you're committing yourself to goes a long, long way. I don't believe in giving half-hearted attempts; I choose carefully what I want to take on then give it my all. Treating others respectfully and just being an overall decent person doesn't hurt either :)
I stayed positive even through the times where its seemed like I wouldnt make it.
